Coworking Facilities

This is not a vacation. It is a remote working adventure. Where you live and work are in the SAME Selina hostel campus. It’s super convenient and lets you meet and get to know lots of interesting people, many of whom who are digital nomads. You don’t need to leave the hostel grounds to eat, sleep, drink or work, although we will be doing plenty of exploring together.

The working environment and the social atmosphere are impressive.

Below is the Selina La Fortuna indoor coworking facility. I used it in 2021 as they have a private office you can reserve, a printer, office supplies, and cool people.

Selina hostel coworking facilities feature a dedicated (and redundant) high-speed fiber internet connection just for the coworking crowd. They also have beautiful, clean, shared open office areas, private phone booths, meeting rooms, a printer, a copier, and people to help you.

I really enjoyed having access to these types of breezy outdoor spaces. Above is the Manuel Antonio outdoor coworking and private rooms. The space also has a phone booth.

Below is the spot I enjoyed working from the most in La Fortuna.

Internet Reliability

You can expect the internet to go down once or twice a month, in spite of enhanced connections. Power can occasionally go out as well. Selina’s La Fortuna hostel is the BEST coworking location in Costa Rica AND the best for Selina hostels. I experienced living at two of the three Selina locations in early 2021 that we’ll be living at in 2022.
