With CCC Nomads, Mike O’Neil’s business partners and associates experience a fantastic winter work experience in a safe, magical, tropical environment for a week to a month. They learn how to improve your business in many ways. As a vendor, they learn how to provide more effective products and services to their clients.
Mike O’Neil has spent years refining the remote working experience, and you benefit from years of knowledge, escaping winter and working in a swimsuit, a tank top and flip-flops and see what quality of life is all about.
Those with a business that can work remotely benefit from the CCC Nomads experience
The idea of CCC Nomads began in 2020, early in the COVID crisis as Mike O’Neil cleverly escaped the cold Minnesota winter to work remotely in Costa Rica.
He was surprised to find others like him living together and collaborating on projects. This lit up an idea in Mike’s head: Plan an annual event that supports the concept of “Colive, Cowork and Collaborate.”
Upon returning, he began planning what would become CCC Nomads, which spanned two years – 2022 and 2023.
Besides Coliving, Coworking and Collaborating, this is an educational event, with attendees serving as presenters of their craft, teaching insider tricks. Topics are not necessarily business topics; they are whatever the group wants. Outside presenters will be brought in to educate us on Costa Rica, the Spanish language, attractions, and more.
This event can be a tax-deductible business event for most attendees, facilitating deep relationships that bear fruit.
We visit several locations in Costa Rica – beaches, volcanos, mountains, rainforests, and more beaches. During a more extended stay, participants can get to know Costa Rica and make friends with the locals.
The event features group lunches, dinners, nightlife out on the town, recreational outings, and other adventures. I have already done or scouted out many of these, so we are not sidelined by anything. We will be traveling about in shared cabs mostly, but there will still be quite a bit of walking.
Each location includes comfy coworking spaces with high-speed internet, power, offices, etc. They also have lots of exciting places to do your work both on campus and out in town.
We have a little trick to get really lower accommodation rates – booking at Selina hostels by the month. The hostels include everything we need: coliving, coworking, restaurant, bar, live music, pool, and concierge. Selina’s hostels are truly exceptional yet down-to-earth.
This trip will give you memories you treasure so much that you may want to return to this annual event every year like me.
